Introducing the “Breeze Button-Up Dress” – where style meets ease. The tent dress cut with the removable tie makes it ultra comfortable and flattering. The billowing sleeves were designed to stay off of the skin making it both breathable and creating less sensory input. Each detail was designed to make this dress both functional and fashion-forward. The adaptive features like the interior, water resistant pocket, front closure, cord keepers, hidden openings, and sensory friendly, heat pressed logo tag, were designed to accommodate the needs of women with medical devices. However, style isn’t compromised and this dress includes beautiful details from the collar all the way down to the ruffles on the skirt. This will be your go-to dress for days in the office, brunches, special occasions, and holidays.
- Front Access – The front button closure allows for easy and discrete access to medical devices throughout the day.
- Openings in Side Seam Pockets – Each side seam pocket bag has a small hole on the inside, 1.5” in length. This feature was designed especially for those with feeding tubes, as traditional dresses don’t typically have access points near the waist for a tube to to exit.
- Cord Keepers – These small tabs keep cords and tubes securely in place to allow for a more comfortable and discrete experience. With one on each side, they measure 2.5” in length, and .75” in width.
- Interior, Water Resistant Pocket with Velcro – This pocket is perfect for holding medical devices, ostomy bags, cords, and tubes. Measuring 8.5” in length by 10.5” in width, the middle of the pocket has velcro which can adjust the depth, depending on where the device sits. The velcro also allows things to be extra secure, and can double as a place to hold small valuables. The water resistant properties help protect your device or objects from getting damaged due to water exposure as well as help contain a leak from an ostomy bag and assist in an easier cleanup.

I ordered this dress and it’s very thoughtfully designed. The fabric is great quality and comfortable. Extremely versatile as you can easily adjust size with the tie waist-band. If you’re unsure on size, stay true to regular size (and wouldn’t size up if you’re worried) because it’s flowy, comfortable, and can easily be adjusted. Looking forward to wearing this dress for upcoming events!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. I preordered this dress the SECOND it was available, and it has truly beyond exceeded my expectations. the fit is true to size, and the design allows for a good amount of wiggle room in either direction. This dress is amazingly comfortable while also being perfect for looking dressed-up! I debut-ed it for Rosh Hashanah this year, and I got so many compliments (and I was SO excited to tell everyone where I got it and all of its cool features!). The high quality materials of the dress (including a thick top layer and the slip under) kept me warm in a cold auditorium, but the flowy, breezy design kept me cool and comfortable while hanging outside in the heat. I personally didn’t need to utilize many of the accessibility features seamlessly incorporated into this dress, but I was SO impressed with everything Vertige Adaptive has thought of and that all of these features seem as high quality as the rest of the dress. The buttons and flowy arms (no elastic!!) allow for lots of easy access, and it made it easy for me to put on the dress even with my joint issues. I also LOVE that the dress comes with a belt, but doesn’t have belt loops, so if I didn’t want to wear the belt (either because of bloating or to have more of a cottage-core-ish look), it wouldn’t look like something was missing. The photos truly don’t even do it justice. If this dress came in other patterns, I’d order immediately!!
